1. Who we are
Lovebirds Asia ("Lovebirds", "we", "us") is a dating service at www.lovebirds.asia and in the Lovebirds apps. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Lovebirds.
2. Who can join
- You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to use a dating service where you live.
- You must be single or otherwise free to date, and allowed by law to use the service.
- You may have only one account, and it must be about you: your real first name, your real date of birth and photos of you.
- You must not join if you have been banned from Lovebirds before, or if you have been convicted of a sexual or violent offence.
3. Your account
- You sign in with Google or Apple and give your mobile phone number before you can like or message anyone.
- Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab.
4. How to behave
You agree not to:
- Pretend to be someone else, or use photos that aren't of you.
- Ask anyone for money, gifts, loans, investments or financial help, or offer any paid service, including any sexual service.
- Share links, phone numbers, email addresses or other app or social media handles in chat. Chats stay inside Lovebirds. Messages that break this rule are not delivered.
- Harass, threaten, insult or discriminate against anyone, or send sexual content that wasn't asked for.
- Post nudity, sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content, or anything involving anyone under 18.
- Use Lovebirds to advertise, recruit, sell, or arrange marriage for money.
- Use bots, scrape the service, or try to get around our safety checks.
5. Safety and moderation
We check photos and messages with automated tools and our own team, and we act on reports. We may remove content, hold back messages, warn you, or suspend or close your account if we believe you have broken these terms or put anyone at risk. We may also refuse, suspend or close any account at our discretion. Where the law requires it, or someone is in danger, we may pass information to the police or other authorities.
We cannot check everyone's background. Take care when you meet anyone: meet in a public place, tell a friend where you're going and never send money. Report anyone who worries you using the Report button.
6. Your content
You own the photos and words you add. You give us permission to store, show, resize and translate them so the service works, and to show them to other members. This permission ends when you delete them or your account, except for copies we keep for safety as described in our Privacy Policy. Only post content you have the right to share.
7. The service
Lovebirds is free. We may add optional paid extras in the future; if we do, their price and terms will be shown clearly before you pay. We work to keep Lovebirds running, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that you will find a match. We may change or stop features at any time.
8. Our responsibility
We are not responsible for how other members behave on or off Lovebirds. To the extent the law allows, Lovebirds is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If the change is important we will tell you in the app before it applies. Using Lovebirds after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you. Questions or complaints: hello@lovebirds.asia.
Lovebirds Asia is operated by Baal Co., Ltd., a company registered in the Kingdom of Cambodia (registration no. 1000649730), Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
